Idiot No. 048
2006 Detroit Lions
Once again, the following picture is from our friends at walterfootball.com.
But before we get to that, let me explain some of these characters in case you're not familiar with this team.
Mike Williams used to be a skinny receiver, but his dreams of becoming a sumo wrestler got in the way of his football career. In 2006 alone, Williams put
on 400 pounds. I kid you not.
Charles Rogers is another receiver, but he's not a fatso like Williams. He's just a lazy bum who cuts practice a lot to go to the beach. Sometimes he steals
his friend's dad's 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California, and takes his pals to Cubs games and elite restaurants. So, why does Rogers skip practice all the time?
One time he ordered a pizza delivered right to practice and head coach Rod Marinelli got mad at him. You dick!
Matt Millen is the "general manager" of the Lions. I put that in quotes because everyone knows that Millen has been fired. He still works there because
Detroit management forgot to tell him. That's not cool because they treat him like poopies and put him in the basement with all the rats. Plus, they took
away his red stapler. Not cool, man. Not cool.
Ryan Leaf is a loser who was drafted in 1998. Everyone had high expectations for him until he beat up a reporter, and was kicked off the Chargers. Leaf is
now in charge of mating pigs in Wyoming.
William Clay Ford is the owner of the Lions. He's really old, extremely evil and very money-hungry. If he had a choice between helping all the homeless,
and killing them for one cent more, he'd murder all of 'em. If you meet him, don't be tempted by the dark side.
OK, so here's their season in a nutshell from walterfootball.com:
